Lake Kochel – I go there as often that I know it like the back of my hand. Like Starnberger See, it’s one of the lakes I visit when I just want to go for a walk and get some fresh air. But no matter where you start, you always find some pretty things to take photos of!

Some Facts about Lake Kochel
Kochelsee or Lake Kochel is located 70 kilometres (43 miles) south of Munich on the edge of the Bavarian Alps. Most of the lake belongs to Kochel am See, but one third lies within the borders of Schlehdorf.
The River Loisach flows into the lake at Schlehdorf and flows out at Kochel am See. You can see the river on one of the images above.
